Winter Wonderland

For Christmas we drove to CT with my brother and sister-in-law and kitty. What fun it was driving with a litterbox! We had a great christmas opening presents in the morning, going to mass, and then spending time with the whole family for dinner.  Then Sunday came and we all got together again for a christening for my cousins daughter. It just so happens that the blizzard of 2010 decided to brew before we left. No matter how prepared the workers were, the roads just couldn't be kept plowed with all that snow. It was coming down hard. Might I say how awesome it was! I love snow! My kitty does too. We bought a harness for the trip so she could walk around outside and she loved jumping and rolling in the snow. Then the wind was too much for her and she just waited for me to carry her back in. 

This time (6:30pm) tomorrow the snow will finally stop and hopefully it will be ok to celebrate my dad's 50th birthday at a nice dinner. It's been a full, busy vacation and I have a new job to look forward to starting in January. A new start for a new year!

Birthday Post

It's official.

I am a 1/4 of a century year old.

Happy Birthday to me!

I got to spend my weekend with family and friends,

eating out at Atria's,

watching Eclipse (since Despicable Me isn't out yet and I've already seen the other movies that I love),

having pizza,

and trying to get Brusters Ice Cream.

My actual birthday I had to spend at work. with toddlers. yay.

It's been a great 25 years!

{Short n Sweet}

I've been really busy since I last left a post and here's whats been going on:

-went to Brazil (amazing)
-went on family vacation (in love with LBI and beaches)
-got engaged at said family vacation (more in love with new fiance and engagement ring... still deciding which i love better... lol j/k)
-went straight from fam vaca to now said fiance's parents house for a little birthday celebration (23! woot woot!)
-got home (still haven't unpacked yet)
-have been painting at the school i work in for 2 weeks straight (love painting, hate painting an entire school)
-found out i had to move from one church house to another (i keep reminding myself that change is good..i think)
-now painting said new room (by myself: so its boring)
(all the while working on curriculum, what i want in my classroom, where it is going to go, etc)
